The Top Speed Baseball get key pinch-hit in 11-1 victory over the Atwater Aviators

Mitch Guilmette was cold coming off the bench, but Guilmette warmed up quickly as Guilmette stroked a key pinch-hit single in the one to lead the Top Speed Baseball (38-4) to an 11-1 win over the Atwater Aviators (20-22) on Tuesday at Drake High.

With the score tied at one in the first inning, Guilmette came to the plate and singled.

Guilmette paced the Top Speed Baseball at the plate. Guilmette went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

The biggest inning for the Top Speed Baseball was the first. In the inning the Top Speed Baseball scored six runs. Matthew Tarantino racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

DJ Milam improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. He allowed one run over five innings. Milam struck out seven, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Ian Hussian was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked four and struck out two.

The Top Speed Baseball easily handled the Atwater Aviators pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, seven RBIs and eight runs scored.
