Chris Miguel had three extra base hits as the Top Speed Baseball (25-2) took home a 7-2 victory over the Atwater Aviators (14-17) at Drake High on Tuesday.
He homered in the second inning and doubled in the fourth and eighth innings.Corey Sessions struck out eight hitters en route to the the Top Speed Baseball win. Sessions allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over six innings.
Kolin Kubitz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
Eddie Machado was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out four.
The Top Speed Baseball's Matthew Martinez, Cody Erickson and Miguel combined for six hits and six RBIs.
