Zane Gelphman had a hot bat for the South Bay Storm. Gelphman went 2-2 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Nick Maldonado (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
