Connor Rowland had two extra base hits, helping the Palm Beach Xtreme (24-12) to a 10-6 victory over the West Boca Snappers (13-20) on Tuesday at Spanish River High School.
He doubled in the third and sixth innings.Alex Demchak pitched lights out for the Palm Beach Xtreme. The West Boca Snappers managed just one hit off of Demchak, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Robert Moffatt led the West Boca Snappers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth innings.
Derek Jacobs got the win, running his season record to 6-2. He allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered five hits.
George Rodriguez was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
The Palm Beach Xtreme's Claudio Rubiera, Rowland and Carlos Leon combined for six hits and five RBIs.
