Three pitchers baffled the Pacific University and teamed up to throw a no-hitter for the Everett (16-3) in an 8-1 victory in seven innings on Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium .
Taylor Shea, Brandon Lane, and Christian Jarnagin teamed up to stifle the Pacific University, striking out none while walking none.Five runs in the first three innings helped the Everett blow out the Pacific University. A two-run double by Andrew Ivelia and an error in the first inning and an RBI double by Branson Barnecut during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Everett.
Ivelia had two extra-base hits for the Everett.
Shea pitched lights out for the Everett. Shea held the Pacific University hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Wyatt Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out six.
