An ace performance by Keenan Lum hoisted the Pierce (24-13) to a 2-0 win over the Centralia (13-22) on Saturday at Mt Tahoma High School .
Lum held the Centralia scoreless for eight innings. Lum struck out eight and allowed four walks and two hits.
Andrew Barrera got on base four times in the game for the Pierce. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the eighth inning.
Brandon Olson put together a nice outing. Olson held the Pierce hitless over five innings, allowed one earned run, walked seven and struck out one.
Olson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year.
