The Harwich Mariners (25-14) and the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (17-24) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Harwich Mariners capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 2-1 win at Whitehouse Field.

Ernie Clement was hot from the plate for the Harwich Mariners. Clement went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Patrick Naughton struck out eight hitters en route to the the Harwich Mariners win. Naughton allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over seven innings.

Colie Bowers couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
