Eierman's walk-off single send the Bourne Braves home winners, 10-9

A walk-off single from Jeremy Eierman brought home the winning run for the Bourne Braves (15-18) in a 10-9 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at Doran Park on Friday.

Eierman was hot from the plate for the Bourne Braves. Eierman went 1-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

The two teams combined for 19 runs and 26 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 11 pitchers used in the game.

Evan Mendoza went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the Bourne Braves. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Zach Spangler recorded his first win of the year for the Bourne Braves. Spangler struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Mark Nowatnick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
