Three first-inning runs helped the Falmouth Commodores (21-12) to a 4-2 win over the Harwich Mariners (19-12) at Whitehouse Field on Wednesday.
The Falmouth Commodores scored in the first on a two-run home run by Joshua Watson and a solo home run by Willie Burger.
Watson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores.
Jeffrey Passantino put together a nice outing. The Harwich Mariners managed just two hits off of Passantino, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.
Thomas Ponticelli got the win, running his season record to 1-3. Ponticelli struck out three, walked none and gave up three hits.
Ryan McAuliffe (2-1) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
