Brendan King held the Cotuit Kettleers (11-20) scoreless for six innings to boost the Falmouth Commodores (20-12) to a 12-0 victory.
King allowed three hits, no walks and struck out eight.
The Falmouth Commodores continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Falmouth Commodores scored five runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. And a home run by Deacon Liput helped the Falmouth Commodores score five runs in the eighth. The Falmouth Commodores had two hits in the inning.
JJ Matijevic got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.
Jason Bilous ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out four.
