Deacon Liput went 2-4 as the Falmouth Commodores (16-10) took home a 6-2 victory over the Wareham Gatemen (12-11) at Spillane Field on Sunday.

Brendan King handled the Wareham Gatemen's lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. The Falmouth Commodores' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Despite the loss, the Wareham Gatemen's Gunner Leger dominated the Falmouth Commodores' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Brett Gilchrist recorded his second win of the year for the Falmouth Commodores. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Zachary Pop was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
