The Bourne Braves (10-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-1 to the Falmouth Commodores (10-8) on Friday.

Willie Burger racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Falmouth Commodores. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.
The Bourne Braves had no answer for Brady Puckett, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Bourne Braves managed just three hits off of the the Falmouth Commodores' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.
The Bourne Braves were led by Jake Mangum's hitting. Mangum went 2-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.
