The Cotuit Kettleers (2-12) jumped on the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (7-8) early on their way to a 6-3 win on Saturday at Lowell Park, scoring four runs in the first inning.

The Cotuit Kettleers scored in the first on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Hagan, , and a two-run double by Cory Voss.

Alonzo Jones Jr. did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Cotuit Kettleers, reaching base three times. He singled in the seventh inning.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox had no answer for Taylor Lehman, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Lehman held the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Tyler Houston reached base three times in the game for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He singled in the first and second innings.

Michael Baumann (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
