Tyler Houston had three RBIs, helping the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (5-7) to a 5-1 victory over the Orleans Firebirds (7-5) on Thursday at Eldredge Park.

Will Gaddis's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox past the Orleans Firebirds. Gaddis allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks over six innings.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox had no answer for (Thomas) Will Stokes, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Will Stokes held the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Sean Guenther couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Orleans Firebirds, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
