Keegan McGovern had two extra base hits as the Orleans Firebirds (7-8) took home a 7-3 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps (8-7) at Eldredge Park on Wednesday.

Zach Logue had an impressive outing against the Brewster Whitecaps' lineup. Logue gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Brent Rooker was hot from the plate for the Brewster Whitecaps. Rooker went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Ryan Feltner couldn't get it done on the hill for the Brewster Whitecaps, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Orleans Firebirds were sparked by Adam Haseley and Will Golsan, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
