The Cotuit Kettleers (1-9) didn't stand a chance on Monday, as the Orleans Firebirds (6-4) captured a blowout 10-4 win at Eldredge Park.

The Orleans Firebirds scored four runs in the fifth on the Orleans Firebirds scored in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Will Golsan, a wild pitch, , , an RBI single by Riley Mahan, and a single by Zach Kirtley.

Kirtley racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Orleans Firebirds.

Kirk McCarty had an impressive outing against the Cotuit Kettleers' lineup. The Cotuit Kettleers managed just two hits off of the the Orleans Firebirds' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers' Jackson Klein. Klein went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Taylor Lehman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.
