The Falmouth Commodores had no answer for Matt Pidich, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Pidich held the Falmouth Commodores hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Brendan King got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. King struck out four, walked three and gave up two hits.
Jacob Bukauskas (0-1) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.
