Nicholas Dalesandro collected three hits, helping the Harwich Mariners (1-0) to an 8-3 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (0-1) on Friday at Whitehouse Field.

Peter Solomon had an impressive outing against the Cotuit Kettleers' lineup. Solomon held the Cotuit Kettleers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jordan Pearce was hot from the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers. Pearce went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Ross Achter had an impressive outing against the Harwich Mariners' lineup. The Harwich Mariners managed just one hit off of Achter, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Hunter Williams recorded his first win of the year for the Harwich Mariners. He allowed two runs over five innings. Williams struck out five, walked three and gave up two hits.

Keith Rogalla couldn't get it done on the hill for the Cotuit Kettleers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
