The Delray Beach Lightning take out the Florida Pokers with help from Taylor, 9-4

Kennie Taylor collected three hits, helping the Delray Beach Lightning (6-3) to a 9-4 victory over the Florida Pokers (4-1) on Wednesday at Cypress Park C S.

He singled in the first and fifth innings and tripled in the ninth inning.

Chuck Arcuri brought the heat against the Florida Pokers during his outing. The Florida Pokers managed just two hits off of the the Delray Beach Lightning's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his five innings of work.

Carter Smith got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Sean Gabel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
