The South Florida Huskies make the most of 9 hits in 4-3 victory over the Pompano Beach Clippers

The South Florida Huskies (10-16) and the Pompano Beach Clippers (18-7) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the South Florida Huskies capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Pompano Beach Park.

CJ Fitzgerald was solid at the plate for the South Florida Huskies. Fitzgerald went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Hadley Stone struck out four, paving the way for a the South Florida Huskies win. The South Florida Huskies' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Lance Myers went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Austin Dreher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
