J.P. Sorma clubbed three home runs to carry the Pompano Beach Clippers (20-8) to a 19-7 win over the Florida Pokers (17-13) at Pompano Beach Park.

Sorma racked up eight RBIs on three hits for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He homered in the first, second, and fourth innings.

The Pompano Beach Clippers continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Pompano Beach Clippers scored four runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. Cannon Rodgers improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He allowed three runs over 2 2/3 innings. Rodgers struck out three, walked three and gave up one hit.

Tristan McGinnis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out none.
