The West Boca Snappers (4-2) and the Delray Beach Lightning (4-2) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the West Boca Snappers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at Miller Park.

Seth Douglas had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and homered in the sixth inning.

Zach Schneider pitched lights out for the West Boca Snappers. Schneider held the Delray Beach Lightning hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Conner Dunbar racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Delray Beach Lightning. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Chase Strynkowski got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over four innings. Strynkowski struck out two, walked none and gave up four hits.

Sam Nocito (0-1) took the loss for the Delray Beach Lightning. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
