The Boca Raton Blazers (10-8) and the West Boca Snappers (12-14) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Boca Raton Blazers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-6 win at Miller Park.

Yoni Rodriguez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Boca Raton Blazers. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Sal Geraci was hot from the plate for the West Boca Snappers. Geraci went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

William Brooking recorded his first win of the year for the Boca Raton Blazers. He allowed two runs over four innings. Brooking struck out six, walked one and gave up six hits.

Roman Wild (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
