The Atwater Aviators (10-11) and the Nevada Big Horns (8-13) each put runners in scoring position on Monday, but the Atwater Aviators capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-2 win at Golden Eagle Park.

Drew Stahl racked up 10 strikeouts in the the Atwater Aviators win. Stahl allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings.

Justin Contreras baffled the Atwater Aviators, striking out nine batters. Contreras allowed four earned runs, four hits and four walks over seven innings.

Contreras ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
