The Top Speed Baseball get key pinch-hit in 2-1 victory over the Nevada Big Horns

Matthew Martinez was cold coming off the bench, but Martinez warmed up quickly as Martinez stroked a key pinch-hit single in the seven to lead the Top Speed Baseball (12-0) to a 2-1 win over the Nevada Big Horns (4-8) on Tuesday at Golden Eagle Park.

With the Top Speed Baseball leading by one in the seventh inning, Martinez came to the plate and singled.

Corey Sessions got the win for the Top Speed Baseball thanks to seven strikeouts. Sessions allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk over six innings.

Connor Anderson had a hot bat for the Nevada Big Horns. Anderson went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Jack Clouthier (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
