The Top Speed Baseball (27-2) and the Sacramento Heat (9-19) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Top Speed Baseball capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-3 win at Drake High.

Nick Rau racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The Sacramento Heat had no answer for Bret Bowyer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Sacramento Heat managed just two hits off of Bowyer, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Blake Edmonson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Sacramento Heat. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Dylan McDonald improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Donnie Gardiner (2-2) took the loss for the Sacramento Heat. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
