An ace performance by Corey Sessions spurred the Top Speed Baseball (17-1) to an 11-0 win over the Sacramento Heat (6-12) on Wednesday at Drake High.

Sessions kept the Sacramento Heat off the board during his seven innings of work. Sessions allowed two hits, three walks and struck out eight.

The Top Speed Baseball didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Top Speed Baseball scored three runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Top Speed Baseball scored three runs in the eighth on the Top Speed Baseball scored in the eighth on an RBI double by Mitch Guilmette, a groundout by Robert Berning, and an error.

Guilmette racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball.

Timothy Mendonca ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked five and struck out two.
