The Top Speed Baseball (16-1) beat the Sacramento Heat (6-11) 4-1 on Tuesday at Sacramento St. behind Matthew Martinez, who had three extra base hits.

Chrit Rudkin picked up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. Rudkin pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out six.

The Sacramento Heat's Jack Walsh was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Donnie Gardiner brought the heat against the Top Speed Baseball during his outing. The Top Speed Baseball managed just three hits off of Gardiner, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Chris Sardo couldn't get it done on the bump for the Sacramento Heat, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
