The Top Speed Baseball (16-1) beat the Sacramento Heat (6-11) 4-1 on Tuesday at Sacramento St. behind Matthew Martinez, who had three extra base hits.
He doubled in the third and seventh innings.Chrit Rudkin picked up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. Rudkin pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out six.
The Sacramento Heat's Jack Walsh was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.
