A walk-off single from Nolan Earley brought home the winning run for the Southern Illinois Miners (29-12) in a 6-5 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers in 11 innings at Rent One Park, Marion, IL on Thursday.

Earley racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Southern Illinois Miners. He singled in the eleventh inning.

Francisco Rosario racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He tripled in the second inning, singled in the sixth inning, and doubled in the eleventh inning.

Chris DeBoo put together a nice outing. The Schaumburg Boomers (21-21) managed just one hit off of DeBoo, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Nick Palacios recorded his first win of the year for the Southern Illinois Miners. Palacios struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Dexter Price was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
