Chirino racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Normal CornBelters. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Race Parmenter pitched lights out for the Normal CornBelters. The Traverse City Beach Bums managed just one hit off of Parmenter, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.
James Ball ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
