Davis Adkins kept the Lake Erie Crushers (25-27) off the board during his six innings of work and the Florence Freedom (23-32) beat the Lake Erie Crushers, 8-3.

Adkins allowed four hits, no walks and struck out six.

Taylor Oldham racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the sixth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Jordan Kraus (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
