A walk-off triple from Neil Sterling brought home the winning run for the San Francisco Seagulls (23-15) in an 8-7 victory over the Nevada Big Horns (18-18) at Fairmont Field on Saturday.
Sterling racked up three RBIs on two hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the ninth inning.
Paul Murray had two extra-base hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Jack Clouthier racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He singled in the second and sixth innings.
David Moody recorded his sixth win for the San Francisco Seagulls even though he allowed seven runs over nine innings. Moody struck out six, walked one and gave up nine hits.
Dylan Sharon (1-2) took the loss for the Nevada Big Horns. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
Lance Montano, Sterling and Murray helped lead the San Francisco Seagulls. They combined for six hits and seven RBIs.
