Yamasaki helps the South Bay Storm down the San Francisco Seagulls 7-4

Dylan Yamasaki had two extra base hits, helping the South Bay Storm (7-3) to a 7-4 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (8-4) on Tuesday at Fairmont Field.

He doubled in the first inning, tripled in the second inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

The San Francisco Seagulls had no answer for Ray Fuentes, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Fuentes gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

The San Francisco Seagulls were led by Ismael Orozco's hitting. Orozco went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Connor Taylor improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the South Bay Storm. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Justin Eclavea couldn't get it done on the mound for the San Francisco Seagulls, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.

The South Bay Storm's Yamasaki, Vinny Margiotta and Reed Oster combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
