Marlon Mitchell went 2-4 and hit a home run as the SS-T T Bolts (18-12) took home a 6-4 victory over the D.C. Grays (10-22) at Washington Nationals Academy on Thursday.

Michael Kirschbaum brought the heat against the D.C. Grays during his outing. The D.C. Grays managed just one hit off of Kirschbaum, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Bo Burrup was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the SS-T T Bolts batters and allowing one run.

Lamar Briggs reached base three times in the game for the D.C. Grays. He singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Bryan Quillens ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
