Thliveris helps the Toronto Rush down the Palm Springs Chill 4-0

The Toronto Rush (10-4) beat the Palm Springs Chill (7-4) 4-0 in seven innings on Thursday at Palm Springs Turf Field behind Jordan Thliveris, who went 2-3.

He singled in the third and fifth innings.

The Palm Springs Chill had no answer for Seth Powers, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Palm Springs Chill managed just three hits off of Powers, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Brandon Kiser went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Palm Springs Chill. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Kevin Wirth got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Wirth struck out two, walked three and gave up one hit.

Brian OKeefe (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out nine, and allowed three runs.
