Walt Ballentine went 2-3 as the California Bees (2-6) took home an 8-3 victory over the South Bay Storm (5-3) in seven innings at De Anza JC on Saturday.

Isaiah Todd-Fitzhugh reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Colby Morris recorded his second win of the year for the California Bees. He allowed three runs over six innings. Morris struck out four, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Clayton Nodal (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
