Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the San Francisco Seagulls (4-1) outscored the California Bees (1-3) 11-8 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 17 hits in the game.

Juan Reina racked up four RBIs on three hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Michael Espino brought the heat against the California Bees during his outing. The California Bees managed just three hits off of Espino, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out none during his five innings of work.

Michael Franco was solid at the plate for the California Bees. Franco went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Matt McDonald ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
