A five-run explosion in the seventh inning spurred the California Bees (1-2) to a 9-1 win over the San Francisco Seagulls (3-1) at San Marin HS on Sunday.

The California Bees scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Chris Norman, an RBI single by Lukas Ray, , a sacrifice fly by Sam Davison, and an RBI single by Chris Hayman.

Roman Satroplus led the California Bees' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Colby Morris struck out six, paving the way for a the California Bees win. Morris allowed no earned runs on five hits and no walks over five innings.

Josh Eclavea (0-1) took the loss for the San Francisco Seagulls. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
