The Weyburn Beavers (23-24) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Yorkton Cardinals (27-18) roared back to steal a 4-2 victory at Jubilee Park.

While the Weyburn Beavers led until the fourth inning, the Yorkton Cardinals worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Dylan Borman.

The Weyburn Beavers couldn't get anything going as long as Spencer Jackson was pitching. Jackson held the Weyburn Beavers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Dan Moro got on base three times in the game for the Weyburn Beavers. He singled in the third inning.

Scott Doucet was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
