The Weyburn Beavers need walk-off sacrifice fly to beat the Regina Red Sox, 3-2

A walk-off sacrifice fly from Jordan Anderson brought home the winning run for the Weyburn Beavers (22-23) in a 3-2 victory over the Regina Red Sox (24-18) in 10 innings at Tom Laing Park on Monday.

Anderson had a hot bat for the Weyburn Beavers. Anderson went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the eighth inning.

Scott Beever baffled the Regina Red Sox, striking out seven batters. Beever allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks over six innings.

Eric Evans improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Weyburn Beavers. Evans struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.

Skyler Henson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Regina Red Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
