The bats were busy at Pirie Field on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Yorkton Cardinals (24-15) had a 12-8 win over the Melville Millionaires (7-31) in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 23 hits in the game.

Garrett Fort racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the fourth inning.

Vinny Martin racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Spencer Jackson got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed one run over two-thirds of an inning. Jackson struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Michael Harrison was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
