The Weyburn Beavers (19-21) blew out the Melville Millionaires (7-28) 13-1 on Sunday at Tom Laing Park after pouring on nine runs in the first inning.
The Weyburn Beavers scored in the first on a two-run double by Colin Rintoul, a two-run single by Cam Williams, an RBI single by Zach Frazier, an RBI double by Connor Kalisky, a sacrifice fly by Dan Moro, an RBI single by Ty Scott, and a wild pitch.
Scott racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Weyburn Beavers.
Ryan Johnson struck out eight hitters en route to the the Weyburn Beavers win. The Weyburn Beavers' pitcher gave up just six hits over five shutout innings.
Trayson Kubo (0-3) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed nine runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked two and struck out none.
