Both the Brooks Bombers (11-25) and the Medicine Hat Mavericks (27-10) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Brooks Bombers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-3 win at Elks Stadium.

Tony Tabor paced the Brooks Bombers at the plate. Tabor went 1-2 and scored three runs. He singled in the third inning.

Alex Alders reached base three times in the game for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Nick Stobbe recorded his third win of the year for the Brooks Bombers. He allowed one run over five innings. Stobbe struck out two, walked three and gave up four hits.

Parker White (1-1) took the loss for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
