The Melville Millionaires (7-25) beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express (12-24) 9-4 on Thursday at Pirie Field behind Braeden Allemann, who went 2-3.

Kris Brown's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Melville Millionaires past the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Brown allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Despite the loss, the Moose Jaw Miller Express' Dylan Blaha dominated the Melville Millionaires' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Cutter McDowell had a hot bat for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. McDowell went 4-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first, fifth, and ninth innings.

Jesse Marks (1-4) took the loss for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked one and struck out one.
