The Regina Red Sox (19-12) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Medicine Hat Mavericks (27-7) roared back to steal a 7-6 victory at Currie Field.

An error gave the Medicine Hat Mavericks the lead in the tenth inning.

Nolan Rattai was solid at the plate for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Rattai went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

Kal Kilgo recorded his first win of the year for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Sam Brunner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
