Humphreys leads the Swift Current Indians to 8-4 win over the Lethbridge Bulls

Alec Humphreys clubbed two home runs to carry the Swift Current Indians (22-8) to an 8-4 win over the Lethbridge Bulls (19-13) at Spitz Stadium.

Ryan Pope had an impressive outing against the Lethbridge Bulls' lineup. Pope held the Lethbridge Bulls hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Mike Moffatt got on base two times in the game for the Lethbridge Bulls. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Luke Wiechec recorded his fifth win of the year for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed four runs over six innings. Wiechec struck out seven, walked four and gave up five hits.

Terrell Dorsey (0-3) took the loss for the Lethbridge Bulls. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Humphreys, Bodie Cooper, Thomas DeBonville and Austin Rieman helped lead the Swift Current Indians. They combined for 11 hits and six RBIs.
