McDowell racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Moose Jaw Miller Express.

Grant Westmoreland's seven strikeouts helped the Moose Jaw Miller Express to the victory. Westmoreland allowed one earned run on eight hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.

The Regina Red Sox were led by Ryan Lambrecht's hitting. Lambrecht went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Landon Russo (1-1) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
