Bobby St. Pierre kept the Weyburn Beavers (10-10) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Swift Current Indians (14-5) beat the Weyburn Beavers, 9-1.

St. Pierre allowed five hits, one walk and struck out seven.

Scott Beever ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.
