Gabriel Montero drove in three runs as the Regina Red Sox (10-5) took home an 8-3 victory over the Melville Millionaires (5-12) at Currie Field on Thursday.

The Regina Red Sox relied on Allan Sanchez to eat up innings en route to the win. Sanchez pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out four.

Jacob Chiaravalle got on base two times in the game for the Melville Millionaires. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Michael Harrison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
