It took 11 innings, but the Swift Current Indians (13-4) managed to put away the Melville Millionaires (5-11) 8-7 on Tuesday at Pirie Field.

With the score tied at seven in the eleventh inning, Luis Rivas came to the plate and doubled, scoring Alex Schultz.

Liam Goodall got on base four times in the game for the Swift Current Indians. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Ryan Pope got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Pope struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Joe Hallock (0-1) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
